Dang Ni Gu Dan..
When you're lonely.. who will you think of? hmm....
being an overseas student, there are many times when one feels lonely.. me included.. hmm.. you might be surprised... some of you who think i'm so optimistic and carefree, that i'd also suffer from this.. well.. i'm only human..
So.. what makes one lonely?? Music??? Work??? Change of lifestyle??
I've no answer, but know definately that i'm really fortunate to have a supportive family, some (and i stress.. SOME only..) supportive friends...
so what's the catch herE?? why am i writing this?? i also don't know... maybe it's because of the song which i recorded in church before i left for australia.. its original singer is some "New Youth" Club, re-sung by Nicholas Teo, and yep.. re-played my me... you can hear it on my blog here.. anyway.. change topic..
Uni has been very good... there seems to be more and more work this semester as compared to last semester... oh well, there's a purpose for everything... PRAY, talk to Him if in doubt... I'm trying to develop this habit of talking to Him about my day before i sleep... Even in the shower, if i can (aha.. galv.. sorry.. copy u.. haaa. but my water's free here.. so...)
Have been leaving the fan on 24 hrs a day.. don't know if i will spoil it or not... don't care... if i keep it off, then the whole room is stuffy.... It's been cooling down considerbly, though it's oh so HOT from the sun, the wind's cool... that's good..
BTW, please PRAY for the residents of northern queensland.. Tropical Cyclone Ingrid as developed from a Cat1 storm to a Cat 5 in a matter of 4 days... it's moving inland as i type, but pray for the safety of all residents there.. Pray that it'll die down soon... and PRAY that it doesn't come to the coast here...
Made a few calls recently, glad to know that all's well... rite.. take care, will update again.

Yeah - its common for a overseas student to feel lonely sometimes. The trick is not to dwell on self pity but to do things to cheer yourself up. Go meet a friend, chit chat with friends, do sports and get your adrenaline pumping. Do you know that your mind can affect your body and vice versa? So, whenever you feel down, do things you like best and it will perk you up.
And by the way, your Uni days will most likely be the best times of your life when you look back. So, make full use of your time, learn new things, make new friends and make each day count.
God bless all of you.
