What is boring turned out to be exciting..

this had gotta be the most boring holiday i've ever had in my 2yrs in Ozzie.. first time i've had assignments due AFTER the holidays, and lecturers sending out emails saying "have a good break and remember to take time-out".. yeah right..

i used to have cookouts during the hols... mee siam, nasi lemak, desserts, lots of cakes... this yr.. i only had steamboat on sun, and chix curry on thurs (yesterday)... the rest of the days it's eating out... haiz.. buy God somehow puts things in place to make the boring holidays better... He up-ped the fellowship quota... had Julie, an Aussie, from church for steamboat, and then Rob, another Aussie, also from church, for curry...

also had a HUGE present from back home.. thank you mom & dad.. is it a late 21'st birthday gift, or an early 30'th birthday gift? hahaa...

my room has never been messier than before.. gotta put things back into their place again... oh wells... assignment first...

finally, today (fri), i don't have to cook to entertain.. coz my friend has invited me over for dinner today... baked herbal chicken.. yumyum... really looking fwd to it...
