Well, it's been a long time since i've updated anything here, partly because of exams, and procrastination...
I was suppose to touchdown on 22 Nov, but changed the date to 18Nov on SQ236... It wasn't too bad a day, considering i had to wake up at 5am to do all washing... then i realised I forgot to buy locks for my luggage, and I had to rush to the shopping centre to get the locks... linen was dumped into my friend's dryer at her place while i got back to do more packing and cleaning up...
my airport transfer came promptly, and I had so many baggages.. 2 suitcases, 1box of mangos, 1 hand carry, 1 laptop and 2 pouches.... sheesh.. because i came down slightly late, the man almost went off without me...
Lesson: Never be late for Airport Transfer..
Reached the airport, checked in my luggage... hahah.. was overweight by 6.3KG... the lady refused to waive the excess despite repeated attempts of explaining one of the lugggage was empty... well.. almost anyway... hahaha... the SQ groudstaff, Rob, was quite helpful when he told me to remove 1 haversack of stuff... Managed to bring down the weight to 29.8kg...
I was juz grinning to myself.. I don't understand what is the difference between checked in luggage and hand carry when all is going into the same plane... oh well... he allowed me the backpack, the hand carry, plus my laptop and 2 pouches..haha...
got in smoothly... still had the problem of customs not being able to scan my passport.. think i must go to ICA to get it checked..
3hrs into the flight, we were told that Customs didn't check 3 bags, and we had to land in Darwin... Great... wasted 1hr plus in Darwin... and we wern't allowed to disembark... my face was turning blacker my the minute, although i didn't say anything..hahah... the crew shutting down the krisflyer TV system didn't help the mood in the cabin either...
well, we managed to fly off after 1.5hrs i think...
managed to get back in 1 piece.. Thank the Lord...
more to come...
